REGULAR SEASON POWERHOUSE, HOMETOWN TEAM BATTLE FOR BERTH IN U-18/19 FINAL

UNITED SOCCER ALLIANCE (3) VS. SAN DIEGO SURF (11) - 4:30 P.M. PT

The highest seed still standing in Oceanside, United Soccer Alliance has carried over a dominant regular season into a stellar Playoff run. USA entered the postseason with the nation's top defense and third-best offense. Its credentials have held up thus far at the SoCal Sports Complex, outscoring its opponents 9-1 in its three group stage matches.

Forward Lia Godfrey has led the charge for the attack in the Playoffs, netting goals in all three of the team's games, including a brace against La Roca Futbol Club in the opener. Godfrey represented the USA at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, notching an assist in her lone appearance at the tournament.

Playing on its home turf, San Diego Surf is the lone wild card team remaining in the Playoffs. In the final group stage match, the Surf came back from an early penalty kick to defeat Penn Fusion Soccer Academy 2-1 and secure its berth in the semifinals.

Affleck was one of the leading scorers in the West Conference this season with 18 goals. FIshel was a key part of the USA's 2018 FIFA U-17 World Cup team, playing in all three games and scoring a goal for the red, white and blue in Uruguay.
