The Reds can also make it through with a loss if they maintain the best goal differential in the group. NYC needs to win by two or more goals, while staying above Baltimore Armour on goal differential to punch its quarterfinal ticket. Baltimore needs some help to make it through, as the team needs to win and needs NYC to top Toronto plus hold the best goal differential in the group to advance. Weston FC has been eliminated after losing its first two games.

Sockers can advance to the quarterfinals with a win or a draw and even a loss if they finish first on goal differential. The Earthquakes need to beat the Sockers for a chance at the next round and have to overcome the Chicago-based squad's superior goal differential. Nomads will need some help to reach the quarterfinals as they need to win, hope San Jose can top Sockers and finish with the group's highest goal differential. The Union have been eliminated with losses in their first two games.

The Sounders are well-positioned to reach the quarterfinals. With several members of the team that won the 2018 U-16/17 Academy Championship, the Sounders can advance with a win or a draw and even a loss if they maintain the group's best goal difference. The winner of the Orlando City-PDA match has a chance to advance if the Sounders lose, but they'll have to top the group on goal differential. FC Golden State has already been eliminated.

The top spot in Group H has come down to Crossfire Premier and Bethesda SC. Crossfire Premier comes into the day with the best odds of advancement, as the Washington-based squad can make it through with a win, draw or loss if it maintains its goal differential advantage. Bethesda needs to win its game and hope for a Crossfire loss, then top Crossfire on goal differential. Both RSL and Atlanta United have already been eliminated.
