TWO STELLAR SHOWDOWNS KICK OFF SPRING SHOWCASE FEATURE GAME SCHEDULE

With over 3,000 girls gathered in Commerce City, Colo. for the second annual U.S. Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase, U.S. Soccer will bring you two feature matches a day from Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Here's a look at what's on tap for Saturday:

1:15 p.m. ET - U-14 - LA Galaxy v. FC Dallas

Two premier Academy programs will clash at the U-14 level as the LA Galaxy and FC Dallas kick off the feature matches.

The Galaxy bring a high-octane attack to Colorado, as the LA offense has scored three or more goals in 12 games this season. Daniella Alali leads the front line with 14 goals, with Julia Quinonez and Brooke Wilson right behind Alali with 13 goals each.

FC Dallas has yet to lose in 2019 (10-0-2). Jaden Thomas is playing up a year, but has already found the back of the net 11 times this season. Melania Fullerton pulls the strings in the center of the park and already boasts international experience, featuring for Grenada's U-17 team when she was only 10 years old. She will most likely find the ball from Taryn Thibeau, as the left back has impressed this season with her passing out of the back to start an FC Dallas attack that loves to play through the lines.

3:30 p.m. ET- U-16/17 - Penn Fusion v. Legends FC

The second and third ranked teams in the nation will clash in one of the most anticipated matches of the Showcase. Penn Fusion is on a roll, going 13-0-2 following its only loss of the season back in October. That run includes a six-game winning streak that has seen the Fusion score 26 goals while conceding just once.

Legends FC's roster is comprised of players who helped the U-15 team reach the Academy final last season. After coming so close to glory, the same cast of characters has shown a renewed hunger that once again has them atop the Southwest Division. Velize King and Kayla Colbert have already hit double digits in the goal column while Hannah Arneson and Taylor Rath have combined to keep 13 clean sheets in 24 games this season.
