Tuesday brings the final day of the U-18/19 group stage at the first-ever Girls' Academy Playoffs. In the tournament, four group winners qualify for the knockout round semifinals. Two groups remain up for grabs, while strong showings in the first two pool play games have already locked up some semifinal spots. Here's the lay of the land heading into the group stage's final match day.

LAFC Slammers 2 2 0 0 6 5 0
Legends FC 2 1 1 0 3 4 3
NC Courage 2 1 1 0 3 1 4
Real Colorado 2 0 2 0 0 0 3

Three teams are still alive in Group A, but the LAFC Slammers enter Tuesday with a distinct advantage. A win or a draw against NC Courage secures Slammers' passage to the semifinals, while the SoCal squad still has a chance even with a loss, based on goal differential. Semifinal hopes remain for both Legends FC and the Courage, but they'll need a victory for any chance to advance. Even with a win, the two clubs will need Slammers to lose and surmount LAFC's goal differential advantage.

Michigan Hawks 2 1 1 0 3 3 6
San Diego Surf 2 0 1 1 1 2 3
Penn Fusion Soccer Academy 2 0 1 1 1 1 5

In Group B, it's down to two teams standing. Solar Soccer Club and Michigan Hawks will both try to book passage to the semifinals, while San Diego Surf and Penn Fusion have been eliminated after drawing and losing their first two games. Solar has the upper hand heading into Tuesday. A win or a draw against San Diego guarantees a final four spot, while the Texas-based team stays alive even with a loss, based on goal differential. Michigan needs a victory against Penn to keep its hopes afloat, while the Hawks need a Solar loss and a goal differential advantage to advance.
